Subject:
Docket No. 50-482:
Licensee Event Report 96-010-01 Gentlemen:
The attached Licensee Event Report (LLR) revision 96-10-01 is being submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.73 (a) (2) (i) concerning a failure to comply with WCGS i
Technical Specifications.
LER 96-010-00 originally reported the inoperability of Motor Operated Valve EFHV0034 as a violation of Technical Specification 3.7.4.
NRC violation 50-482/9704-01 identified that Technical Specification 3.6.3 was entered, but not identified and correctly logged, during the same July 28, 1996 event. Details are contained in the referenced response letter ET 97-0044, and are available on the docket.
j During evaluations based on this violation, WCNOC recognized that LER 96-010-00 should have identified this valve inoperability as reportable per Tecnical Specification 3.6.3, rather than 3.7.4 as originally reported.
