Final Draft Technical Specifications for Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1 In your application for an operating license, you included Technical Specifications. During the course of its review of your application, the staff has worked with representatives from The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company on these technical specifications to reach mutual agreement on the proposed wording and substance. The enclosed Final Draft Technical Specifications for Perry 1 were developed using the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR), the staff's Safety Evaluation Report (SER), the General Electric Standard Technical Specifications, and operating experience from other recently licensed General Electric plants.
The Technical Specifications to be issued as Appendix A to the Perry 1 operating license are expected to be essentially identical to the enclosed final draft.
Please review the enclosed draft and provide any final comments you have by November 1, 1985. You will be asked to confirm that the revised draft including any changes offerred accurately reflects the plant, FSAR and SER analyses as soon as these changes are incorporated.
