Generic Letter 97-01, " Degradation of Control Rod Rod Drive Mechanism Nozzle and Other Vessel Closure Head Penetrations" dated April 1, 1997.
Gentlemen:
On April 1, 1997, the NRC issued Generic Letter 97-01, " Degradation of Control Rod Drive Mechanism Nozzle and Other Vessel Closure Head Penetrations".
Included in this letter was a request for a 30 day response from all addressees.
Pursuant to Section 182a of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and 10 CFR 50.54(f), TV Electric is submitting a response under affirmation (Attachment 1) to the requested information and requested actions as stated in the Reference.
TV Electric will submit a written response to the NRC by July 30, 1997, relative to Items 1 and 2 of the Requested Information section of Generic Letter 97 01, " Degradation of Control Rod Drive Mechanism Nozzle and Other Vessel Closure Head Penetrations."
