This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. M. Jordan,

J. Bjorgen, R. Kopriva, and Ms. N. Nicholson of this atfice on September 7-30,
1985, of activities at the LaSalle County Nuclear Station,~ Units 1 and 2,

authorized by NRC Operating Licenses No. NPF-11 and No. NPF-18 and to the

discussion of out findings with Mr. Bishop and others at the conclusion of
the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during

the_ inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective

examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified during the
course of this inspection.
