' United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attention: Document Control Desk Washington, D.C. 20555 Gubject: Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company - Proposed Chango No. 203 -
115 kV Offsite Power Requirements Gentlemen:
In accordance with 10CFR50.91(b) the State of Maine has reviewed the proposed amendment to modify Section 3.12 of its Technical Specifications on station service power. The State has no objection to the proposed change,.
because it meets the requirements as set forth in the NRC's Supplement No.1, of its Confirmatory Action Letter, dated January 30,1997. It also provides for more restrictive operability requirements on its station service power and ensures shorter time limits on continued operation with inoperable configurations of offsite power.
