SUMMARY

OF UNIT 1 OPERATING EXPERIENCE SEPTEMBER 1985 9/1 At the beginning of this reporting period, Unit I was operating at 830 MWe with the reactor at 100% power. At 0815, power was reduced to 808 MWe to conduct reactor physics testing.

9/3 Resumed fullload operation (830 MWe) at 1830.

9/19 At 2145, power was reduced to 580 MWe to allow a reduction in main generator hydrogen pressure while repairing a hydrogen leak.

9/20 Resumed fullload operation (845 MWe) at 1000.

9/21 At 0540, power was reduced to 800 MWe while conducting a secondary steam cycle efficiency test.

9/22 Resumed full load operation (825 MWe) at 0100.

9/28 At 1008, the main generator was removed from service while repairs were made to a high pressure drain line. The reactor remained critical during repairs.

9/29 The Unit was paralleled at 0627 and resumed full load operation (834 MWe) at 1840.

9/30 At 0712, the Unit tripped on loss of load caused by an apparent.

y spurious feedwater heater high level trip signal. The reactor was brought critical at 2035. At the end of this reporting period, Unit I was in the process of starting up, with the reactor critical and the main turbine being warmed.

SUMMARY

OP UNrr 2 OPERATING EXPERIENCE SEPTEMBER 1985 9/1 At the beginning of this reporting period, Unit 2 was at 833 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.

9/12 Reduced load to 650 MWe at 2135 to clean main condenser waterboxes.

9/13 Resumed full load operation (842' MWe) at 1100. Reduced load to 695 MWe at 2100 to clean main condenser waterboxes.

9/14 Resumed fullload operation (848 MWe) at 1210, 9/30 At the end of this reporting period, Unit 2 was at 844 MWe with the reactor at 100% power.
