PVNGS Unit 2 Operating License NPF-46 Dear Mr. Martins As required by the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Unit 2 Operating License, NPF-46, I am hereby certifying that item 1.a of Attachment 1 to the license has been completed for the initial entry into Mode 4.
The operability of systems required for Mode 4 has been demonstrated by successfully meeting the acceptance criteria in the PVNGS Technical Specifications.
This has been accomplished by the completion of the applicable surveillance tests or by pre-operational testing, which i
verifies the meeting requirements of the Technical Specification and which were performed within the required surveillance interval or by operability as demonstrated for Modes 5 and 6.
