Dear Dr. Grace:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p), please find attached five (5) copies of Revision 6 to the Catawba Nuclear Station Training and Qualification Plan. Revision 6 was developed to clarify the fact that security personnel trained to operate detection equipment for search purposes do not have to be trained or qualified to test the equipment. Specific plan changes are addressed in the attachment.
Revision 6 does not decrease the effectiveness of the Catawba Fuclear Station Training and Qualification Plan.
This material is applicable to security provisions at Catawba Nuclear Station; therefore, Duke requests that this material be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21.
