Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. R. Boardman of this of fice
during the period October 21-25, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC
Operating License DPR-40 for Fort Calhoun Station, and to the discussion of our
findings with you and other meitbers of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included annual review of your quality
assurance program, procurement prograta, receipt handling and storage of
material, document control, and the Fort Calhoun Station onsite review
comi t tee. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with
perscnnel, and observations by the inspectors. These findings are documented
in the enclosed inspection report.
Witbin the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
One unresolved item is identified in paragraph 5 of the enclosed inspection
report.
We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to previously
identified inspection findings. The status of these items is identified in
paragraph 2 of the enclosed report.
