Dear Mr. Keppler:
Enclosed is Revision 5 of the Safety-Related Piping System Support and Hanger Discrepancies Summary Report for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
As requested by your Staff, Toledo Edison is updating this report weekly and submitting it to your office to keep your Staff notified in writing of any new discrepancies identified on safety-related piping system hangers or supports. No new discrepancies were identified on safety-related piping system hangers or supports from August 8, 1985 to August 13, 1985. Therefore, there are no additions to this report.
This report also provides the status of discrepancies with regards to their disposition. Since Revision 4 of this report (Serial No. 1-562) was submitted on August 2, 1985, 20 Nonconformance Report items and one Surveillance Report item have been dispositioned. Accordingly, of the presently identified discrepant items, only two (2) Nonconformance Report items remain to be dispositioned.
