PORTSMOUTH CERTIFICATE AMENDMENT REQUEST -INCREASED IMPACTS FOR HYPOTHETICAL CRITICALITY CASE IN BUILDING X-333 -
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT (TAC NO. L32014)
Dear Mr. Miller:
We have received your application to amend Certificate of Compliance GDP-2 transmitted by letter dated February 25,1997, by modifying tne bounding calculated dose for a hypothetical criticality case in Building X-333 described in section 4.1.1.2.5 of the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant's Safety Analysis Report. Your request has been assigned TAC No. L32014. Please reference this number in any future correspondence associated with this request.
We have completed the initial administrative review of your application for amendment of your certificate. No omissions or defit,iencies were identified, therefore, we have found it acceptable for formal review. Please note that the formal review may identify omissions in the submittalinformation or issues that require additional information.
Based on our administrative reviews and projection of current review schedt:les, we anticipate completing our review by July 11,1997. This date could change depending on the findings of our formal review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this cchedule.
A copy of your correspondence has been forwarded to our License Fee and Accounts Receivable Branch, Office of the Controller, who will contact you separately for billing if your request is subject to full cost recovery.
