This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. R. Boardman of this office
during the period August 12-16, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC Operating
License DPR-40 for Fort Calhoun Station, and to the discussion of our findings
with you, and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included training programs for licensed
and unitcensed plant personnel, and licensee response to NRC Generic Letter 83-28, dated July 8,1983, " Subject:
Required Action Based on Generic
Implications of Salem ATWs Events."
Within these areas, the inspection
consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
These findings
are documented in the enclosed inspection report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.
