Dear Sir:

In References (b), (c) and (d), we described the corrective actions proposed to correct the failure of the Westinghouse (W) motor-operated gate valves to close against differential pressure. Hardware changes proposed by W and the required testing has been completed for Unit 1 valves.

The corrective action for Unit 2 valves has not been completed and is

. being tracked by a Non-Conformance Report (NCR). You will be informed when the corrective action for the Unit 2 equipment has been completed.
