Catawba Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50-413 and 50-414 Training and Qualification Plan Revision 7
Dear Mr. Denton:
Pursuant to 10CFR50.54(p), please find attached five (5) copies of Revision 7 to the Catawba Nuclear Station, Training and Qualification Plan. Revision 7 was developeJ to reflect station organizational changes, sanitize various pages of the plan eliminating " Safeguards Information", changes in the screening pro-gram, and revised the List of Effective pages by deleting all references to Rev-ision 5.
Specific plan changes are addressed in the attachment.
Since the Training and Qualification Plan is applicable to Unit 1 (50-413) and Unit 2 (50-414) this submittal is directed to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) with a copy of the submittal to the Regional Administrator.
Region II.
Based on conversation between your staff and my staff and the current status of the Catawba Unit 2 (50-414) License, this submittal in this manner satisfies the Licensing requirements of Unit 1 and Unit 2.
Re-vision 7 does not decrease the effectiveness of the Catawba Nuclear Station Training and Qualification Plan.
Even though this material is applicable to security provisions at Catawba Nuclear Station, it is not Safeguards Infortnation and does not need to be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR73.21.
