Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-412 Detailed Control Roan Design Review -- Sunmary Report Gentlemen:
The attached are three signed original letters and three copies of the Sunmary Report which describes the methodology, findings, assessment, and im lenentation schedul e of the Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No. 2 (B PS-2) Control Roan Design Review (CRDR). The review was conducted to ensure that the control roan and the energency and alternate shutdown panels would support operation during energency conditions, and to meet the requirenents of Iten I.D.1 of Supplenent 1 to NUREG-0737 published Generic Letter 82-33. The review was conducted using the guidance of NUR Gs 0700, 0737, and 0801.
The Sunmary Report is divided into three volunes:
Volune 1 -- Sunmary Report Volune 2 -- Appendices Volune 3 -- Human Engineering Discrepancies (HEDs)
Two copies of the Sunmary Report have been forwarded directly to the NRC staff reviewer, Mr. R. Eckenrode.
The BVPS Final Safety Analysis Report will be anended to reference the CRDR in Chapter 18.0, "Hunan Factors."
