FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Docket No. 50-335 Proposed Changes to the Technical Specifications Regarding Safety Review Committee Alternate Vice Chairman (JPTS-85-13)
Dear Sir:
This application seeks to amend portions of the FitzPatrick Technical Specifications which address the Safety Review Committee organization.
Specifically, Sections 6.5.2.3,
" Alternates" and 6.5.2.6,
" Quorum" are revised to permit meetings at headquarters, in the event the Chairman and Vice-Chairman are unavailable.
This change reflects the Authority's continuing commitment to focus upper management attention and involvement in the safe operation of the FitzPatrick Plant.
Enclosed for filing are three (3) signed originals and nineteen copies of a document entitled " Application for Amendment to Operating License", together with forty (40) copies of Attachments I and II thereto, comprising a statement of the proposed changes to the Technical Specifications and the associated Safety Evaluation.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, a copy of this application, with attachments, is being provided to the designated New York State official.
In accordance with 10 CFR 170.12, a check in the amount of
$150.00 is enclosed as the application fee.
