Dear Mr. Jenkins:
This is te provide additional information concerning the NPDES permit exception at our Surry Power Station that was previously reported to you by phoneonAjgust 28, 1985.
At approximately 10:00 a.m. on August 28, 1985 station personnel roted that the flow rettording pen for Outfall Oll, the sewage treatment plant, was not responding to input voltage.
It was determined that the failure was due to malfunctioniag flow integrator parts.
Replacement parts were ordered from the Fisher-Porter Company. Some of the parts have now been received, but some are still on ordgr, and followup checks with Fisher-Porter have indicated a promisedatepfOctober 10, 1985 for the remaining parts. We will continue daily estimatus of flow in the interim, using flow measuring equipment still in operation. Repairs will be made when the remaining parts are received.
