This is to advise that, as of April 1,1997, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation has Nuclear Propeny and Decontamination Insurance in place totaling $2,750 million as described below.
The primary propeny coverage of $500 milljon is provided by ANI/MAELU under policy number
%133. In the event of a common occurrence, there is an aggregate of $500,000,000 applicable.
This policy renews June 1,1997.
The next $2,250 million of insurance coverage is provided by Nuclear Electric Insurance, Ltd.,
Excess Nuclear Propeny and Decontamination Liability coverage (combination of the former NEIL 11 and NEIL 111 coverage into one policy), under policy number X96-023. This policy renews November 15, 1997.
