Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-277/85-37 and 50-278/85-38
This refers to the routine inspection conducted _by Mr. A. Della Ratta of this
office on October 15-18, 1985, at the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Delta,
Pennsylvania and at the Philadelphia Electric Company corporate offices, of
activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 and to the dis-
cussions of our findings held by Mr. Della Ratta with Mr. L. R. Rubino of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection at your corporate offices. The plant
staff was advised of the inspection findings by the NRC's Senior Resident
Inspector on October 21, 1985.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Our inspector also verified the steps you have taken to correct the violations
brought to your attention in the enclosure to our letter dated January 11, 1982.
We have no further questions regarding your action at this time.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
is appreciated.
