Dear Mr. Chairman:

In accordance with Section 9 of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) hereby files a revised Charter for the Advisory Panel for the Decontamination of Three Mile Island, Unit 2.

This charter broadens the scope of the Committee's activities to include consulting with and providing advice to the Commission on the public's reactions to plans and the results of studies deriving from Federal, State and TMI Public Health Fund efforts regarding the TMI-2 accident.
