Subje,ct: Meeting Report No. 50-271/85-37
On October 21, 1985, an Enforcement Conference was held at the NRC Region I
Office, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, to discuss the findings of Special
Inspection No. 50-271/85-31. The meeting was attended by yourself and members
of your staff and by Dr. Thomas E. Murley, Regional Administrator, myself and
other members of the Region ! staff. At that meeting, we discussed the
circumstances surrounding the undetected entry of an unauthorized individual
(a contractor employee).into the site proteited area, the lack of compensatory
measures for an inoperative zone of the protected area perimeter alann system
and your proposed actions to prevent recurrence of these apparent violations
of NRC requirements. A sunenary of our discussions and a listing of attendees
are contained in the meeting report enclosed with this letter.
No reply to this letter is required.
You have been notified of our decision
regarding enforcement action by separate correspondence.
