2 tener briefly discussed the nethod of analysis of the package and Fenchworking of the calculational techniques based on 1/4 and 1/5 scale nodel test of the l'odel No. LK-100 spent fuel cask. The URC staff asked that the safety analysis report for the package address possi51e slap-down effects on the packaqe and expressed concern for the attachment of'the inpact liniters to the cask (possibility of the inpact limiters cominq off t! e cask during the 30-foot drop and puncture tests).

Sentry Equipment Corporation (a US conpany) indicated they would request approval of a previously approved 10 CFR Part 50 cuality assurance plan for the design and fabrication of packanes under the requirerents of 10 CFR Part 71.

An application nay be submitted sone tine this sunner. Our initial response would require about 3-4 nonths after the application is received.
