I have reviewed the information provided and have concluded that tne

,l Commission should continue to give priority for reviewing standard and advanced reactor designs, early site approvals, and licensing for new reactor license applicants (Option 2 with elements of Option 1).

However, based on public comments, I believe that the staff guidance in the Commission preliminary views is premature and lacks industry support.

Therefore, I believe that this staff guidance should be struck from the final position, cc:
