Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Integrated Safety Assessment Program (ISAP)
At a meeting on November 20, 1985 with Messrs. J. Donohew and C. Grimes of NRC, GPUN inquired if NRC was continuing the Integrated Safety Assessment Program (ISAP), and if NRC was still seeking utilities who would voluntarily particpate. Mr. C. Grimes indicated that the program was still active, however, at this time additional utility participation would not be accepted.
As you are aware, GPUN had previously expressed interest in the program, however a decision to become an active participant was not made at that time.
Currently, GPUN is still interested in the program and would appreciate formal notification from your office should the NRC expand the current scope of the program to include additional participation. At that time, GPUN would decide if participation by Oyster Creek is p repriate.
