SUMMARY
This refers to the management meeting condacted at your request in the NRC Region II office on August 5, 1985. The meeting was held to discuss results of recent operator .requalification examinations and future license utilization plans. The details of the meeting are provided in Enclosure 1. A list of attendees at the meeting is shown in Enclosure 2.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial in that it provided a better understanding of the utility's future plans in the operator training area.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.

SUMMARY
On August 5,1985, representatives of Georgia Power Company (GPC) met with the NRC, at GPC's request, in the NRC Regional Office in Atlanta, Georgia. GPC explained its desire to quickly learn the results of the recent NRC administered operator requalification examination, as the results could change plans for future training. The NRC acknowledged those concerns and stated that final results would be provided as soon as possible.
GPC discussed its plans for future utilization of licensed personnel. GPC delivered a letter to the NRC listing individuals whose job assignments no longer require a license. The letter, Enclosure 3, was accepted by the NRC and docketed.
