SUBJECT: REPORT NOS. 50-413/85-32,50-414/85-30,50-369/85-25,

50-370/85-30,50-269/85-22,50-270/85-22,

AND 50-287/85-22

On July 23, 1985 NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC Operating

Nos. NPF-35, NPF-9, NPF-17 DPR-38, DPR-47, DPR-55 and Construction Pennit

No. CPPR-117 for your Catawba, McGuire and Oconee Nuclear facilities. At the  ;

conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of j

your staff identified in the enclosed inspection report. '

I Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these

areas, the inspection consisted of selective discussions of procedures and

interviews with personnel. '

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, l

Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure

will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
