The information is as initially received without verification or evaluation, and is basically all that is known by the Region I staff on this date.

B0MB THREAT On November 23,1985 at 11:38 a.m., the plant security force received a telephone call from an unidentified male caller who stated, in a muffled voice, that a bomb was going to go off in the plant. Shortly before, at about 11:15 a.m., the Shift Supervisor in the Control Room took a telephone call and, after he identified himself, a male caller, also in a muffled voice, stated "I don't want to talk to you...... ". Both calls were apparently made from an outside line.
At 1:22 p.m., the licensee declared an unusual event and initiated a bomb search.
No bomb was found and the unusual event was terminated at 3:20 p.m.
The plant was not evacuated. The reactor was shut down at the time of the event.
The NRC Operations Center received the information from the licensee via ENS at 12:22 p.m. and informed the IAT.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylv nia was informed.
