OF PLANT OPERATIONS

.The plant has been in cold shutdown for plant modification for the entire month

'of July.

PERSONNEL CHANGES REQUIRING REPORT None SUfEARY OF CHANGES IN ACCORDANCE WITH 10 CFR 50.59(b)

None MAJOR ITEMS OF SAFETY RELATED MAINTENANCE

1. Existing high point vent piping and fittings from lines 20564-1" CA and 20555-1" CA were removed to prepare for the installation of new components.

The pipe spools were prefabricated and valves RCS-017, RCS-013, RCS-015, RCS-021, RCS-019 and RCS-060 were prepped for reinstallation.

2. DHS-060, the LPI to pressurizer spray isolation val ~ve, was disassembled and visually inspected to determine source of leakage. The body to bonnet gasket and packing were replaced.
3. During the performance of a surveillance procedure, auxiliary feedwater pump P-318 packing became excessively hot after a short operating period. Inboard and outboard stuffing boxes were repacked and the surveillance procedure was again unsuccessfully run. The pump was dismantled for rotor inspection.
