Gentlemen:
This refers to the special safety inspection conducted during the period of
July 1 through October 15, 1985, of activities at Fermi 2 authorized by NRC
operating License No. NPF-43. The results of this inspection were discussed
during management meetings in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, on July 23, 1985 and on
September 10, 1985. We are releasing this report at this time for your
information. You will be notified by separate correspondence of our decision
regarding enforcement action based on the findings of this inspection. No
written response is required until you are notified of the proposed enforcement
actior..
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC's Public Document
Room.
