ENCLOSURE SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE - NRC-01E INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-327/85-26, 50-328/85-26 ROGER D. WALKER'S LETTER TO H. G. PARRIS DATED SEPTEMBER 6, 1985 By the October 7, 1985 letter from J. A. Domer to NRC, TVA, provided an admission of the violation, identified the reason for the violation, identified corrective steps taken and the results achieved, the corrective steps taken to avoid further violations, and the date when full compilance would be achieved.
In addition to the corrective steps identified in our October 7, 1985 respon.se, the following actions have been taken:
A.
Signs have been posted at the main egress stations detalling the proper frisking techniques. Clocks have also been installed at these stations so personnel will be able to comply with frisking time requirements.
B.
The Health Physics Staff is enforcing established plant policies and continually informs plant personnel of health physics requirements.
C.
If individuals are observed violating established health physics requirements, appropriate discipilnary action is being taken by plant managem.ent.
D.
The plant Quality Assurance Staff is currently performing surveillances for personnel dosimetry and frisking on a weekly basis.
These surveillances will continue until the site has assurance that the proposed corrective actions have been adequately implemented.
The above steps have been implemented; therefore, the plant is in full compilance.
The temporary assignment of a health physics technician to the Maintenance Section, as identified in our initial response, will continue through January 3, 1986.
