j San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3 By letters dated June 20, 1985, and October 23, 1985, Revisions 5 and SA to the " Physical Security Plan, San Onofre Units 1, 2 and 3" were forwarded to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for review pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p).

This letter responds to Revision 5 textual changes discussed between Mr. A.

McQueen, Region V Safeguards Inspector and Mr. R. Beatty, SONGS Security Compliance during October 1985.

AccordinglyF pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(p),

enclosed are six (6) copies of a description of the textual changes discussed by Messrs. McQueen an<l Beatty, identified with a vertical line in the right-hand margin and a nufaer 5B corresponding to the revision number addendum. The revised changes described in the enclosure do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of this Plan.

The attachments to the enclosure contain " Safeguards Information" as specified in 10CFR 73.21 and should be protected against unauthorized disclosure.
