.G03-85-679 Mr. J. B. Martin Regional Administrator U. S. NRC - Region V 1450 Maria Lane, Suite 210 Walnut Creek, CA 94596

Dear Mr. Martin:

Subject:

NUCLEAR PROJECT NO. 3 READINESS REVIEW PROGRAM

Reference:

Letter, G03-85-552, dated September 23, 1985, same subject.

The referenced letter transmitted the initial issue of a six month rolling schedule for the Engineering Assurance portion of the subject program, that was to be updated approximately every two months.

This letter transmits Revision 1 to that rolling schedule.

As stated previously, we will communicate last-minute details to you by telephone on those activities in which you wish to participate.

Note that while the earlier tasks of the first review have been delayed, the completion date remains the same.

You will'also notice that we have mobilized the team leader of the second review module ahead of schedule to take advantage of the lessons learned during mobilization of the first review.

If you have any questions please contact George A. Block at (509) 372-5181.

Very truly yours.

C,w de G. C. Sorensen, Manager Regulatory Programs sek
