Please confirm your attendance at the CRGR meeting tomorrow as discussed earlier..
The topic for discussion will be use of " required" vs " request" in generic correspondence
[
(specifically, in invoking 50.54(f) to obtain information). I sent to you earlier a copy of an email message to Steve Crockett who is also requested to attend the meeting for a briefing on implementation of the Small Business...Faimess Act. Since there are possible implications of using " require" vs " request" in generic correspondence with regard to whether the Act applies or not, it would be preferable to coordinate your time of attendance to overlap with SFC. Please give me a call to discuss. If we don't talk by j
' COB today, I'll try to call you in the morning (starting at about 8:00 am, up to 9:00 am l
when the meeting begins)). If I don't reach you then, I have asked Steve Crockett to get l
in touch with you about coordinating your times of attendance. In that event, give my secretary (Sheila McKelvin) a call at 415-7473 and she will come into the meeting to 1
inform me, or to get me if you or SFC want to talk to me. Thanks, Steve. Hopefully, j
we'll see you at the meeting tomorrow.
