SUMMARY

OF OPERATI?Ki EXPERIENCE OC'IOBER 1985 Unit No. 2 operated at approximately 76% reactor power and 640 Mwe through October 21 while No. 21 Main transformer was repaired.

While shutting down to return the transformer to service, the MS-1 valve on #22 steam generator would not close.

The plant was brought to cold shutdown and the valve was repaired.

On October 24, 1985 the reactor tritped shortly af ter synchronizing the main generator units.

The cause of the reactor trip was a high steam generator level in ateam generator ib. 23.

The unit was returned to nervice and was oterated at 100% lxuer for the rmainder of the month, i
