The final rule, " Codes and Standards for Nuclear Power Plants," to be published in the Federal Register, will incorporate by reference the following provisions of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code:

Winter 1982 Addenda Sunner 1983 Addenda 1983 Edition We request that you add these ASME provisions to those already incorporated by reference in NRC regulations contained in 10 CFR Part 50.
Copies of the Section XI provisions are enclosed for filing in accordance with 1 CFR requirements.
It is my understanding that you already have copies of the appropriate Section III provisions.
