This letter refers to the Enforcement Conference held at our request at the
Region II Office on October 3,
1985.
This Conference related to activities
authorized by NRC License No. NPF-12 for V. C. Summer and was attended by
members of my staff and representatives of SCE&G.
The subjects discussed at this Enforcement Conference are described in the
enclosed Meeting Summary.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and has provided for a better
understanding of inspection and enforcement issues.
In accordance with Section
2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regula-
tions, a copy of this letter and enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public
Document Room.
