Dear Mr. Parris:
By letters dated September 27, 1985 and October 4, 1985, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.49, the Tennessee Valley Authority requested an extension of time beyond November 30, 1985, to complete environmental qualification of electrical equipment at its Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2.
Upon consideration of your September 27 and October 4 letters the Commission has denied your request.
An order detailing the Commission's reasons for its action on your extension request will be issued in the near future.
