  1. ~ j, g 799 ROOSEVELT RO AD cLEN ELLym. stuNois sot a7 JUN 1 41985 MEMORANDUM FOR:

Charles E. Norelius, Director, Division of Reactor Projects FROM:

William S. Little, Director, Braidwood Project

SUBJECT:

BRAIDWOOD " TOP TWENTY" CORRECTIVE ACTION PROGRAM ASSIGNMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY In CECO's letter of April 8, 1985 to Mr. Keppler, they identified what they considered to be the " top twenty" corrective action programs at Braidwood.

Even though many of these programs appear to be no more significant than other 50.55(e)s or NCRs at other construction sites, they have received more notoriety than the same issues at other sites by being publicly identified as the " top twenty" at Braidwood.

In order to make sure that we adequately oversee these issues I have reached an agrehment with DRS to assign key individuals programs. with related expertise to have a primary responsibility for these All infonnation obtained by the residents and the project inspectors along with 50.55(e) interim reports shall be passed on to the DRS persons assigned.

It is recognized that several of these programs are part of BCAP.

~

I have asked DRS to make every effort to inspect these programs early and I throughout their implementation to ensure that any problems we may have are identified and satisfactorily resolved as soon as possible.
