Dear Mr. Keppler:

On July 1, 1983, the ommonwealth Edison Company Project Construction Department notified.Mr. Julian M. Hinds of your of fice of a potential deficiency reportable pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55(e) regarding the lack of adequate documentation that Q.C. verifications were performed at our Braidwoqd Station. For your tracking purposes, this deficienc provided our thirty (30)y was.as' signed Number 83-07. Reference (a) day report concerning this deficiency and indicated that the status of this dericiency was indeterminate The purpose of this letter is to pr~ ovide a status update. - - -

The Phillips, Getschow Co. has completed the inspection of the random sample selected by?.Sargent & Lundy as described in Reference (a).
