Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Participation in Generic Issue 77 This letter is being written to inform you of GPU Nuclear's willingness to participate in data collection for Generic Issue 77, " flooding of safety equipment compartments by backflow through floor drains." We are in the process of accumulating and correlating the requisite data for discussion.
The accumulation and correlation of the data are expected to be completed by the end of March, 1986.
We believe that a meeting with members of your staff following the completion of our work would be the most effective way to present our information relating to Generic Issue 77. The verbal exchange would allow for more immediate answers to specific questions.
