ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES Effective February 1, 1986, Dr Frederick W Buckman will assume the duties of Vice President for Nuclear Operations. Dr Buckman is the current President of Delian Corporation, a consulting firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was formerly with Consumers Power Company from 1970-1983, his last position being the Executive Director for Nuclear Activities, when he was responsible for technical support to the Palisades and Big Rock Point Plants. As Vice President for Nuclear Operations, Dr Buckman will have overall responsibility for nuclear affairs including operation and maintenance of the two nuclear units.
Dr Buckman succeeds Russell B DeWitt who will assume duties as Vice President for Energy Supply Services. Mr DeWitt will be responsible for plant (includ-ing nuclear plants) support activities, including engineering, technical, maintenance, construction, administrative and training.
Consumers Power Company requests that as of February 1, 1986, Region III correspondence for both plants be addressed to F W Buckman, Vice President, Nuclear Operations, 1945 West Parnall Road, Jackson, MI 49201.
