LIMIT ON ECCS LEAKAGE LBell Re: Yankee Nuclear Power Station The Cermission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 90 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Yankee) in response to your application of May 7,1985.
The amendrent modifies the Technical Specifications (TS) to define limiting ccrditions for operation and surveillance requirements to limit Emergency Core Cooling System leakage to 50 gallons per day.
A Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to License and Proposed No.Significant Hazards Consideration Determination and Opportunity for Hearing related to the requested action was published in the Federal Register on July 17, 1985 (50 FR 29022). No comments or requests for hearing were received.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclnsed. This action will appear in the Commission's biweekly notice publication in the Feceral Register.
