Dear Mr. Briam:
Enclosed is an advance copy of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant Emergency Response Plan Booklet for 1985-1986. The booklet contains the consolidated comments of Pacific Gas and Electric Company and the County of San Luis Obispo.
Primary distribution of the booklet to all residences and businesses within the Basic Emergency Planning Zone and the Public Education Zone will begin on September 30 from the U. S. Post Office at Oakland, CA. All deliveries are expected to be completed on or before October 17. An additional 5,000 copies are being trans-shipped to California Polytechnic State University for on-campus distribution. An additional 2,000 copies will be delivered to you for distribution through County offices. A supply will also be on hand at the PGandE San Luis Obispo office.
An advertising program, approved'by the County, which incorporates both radio and newspaper in the distribution area will begin on October 7 and will run through October.16.
