This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by R. A. McBrearty of
this office on October 7 - 11, 1985 at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station,
Vernon, Vermont of activities authorized by NRC License No. OPR-28 and to the
discussions of our findings held by Mr. McBrearty with Mr. J. Pelletier at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this insp?ction are described in the NRC Region I
l
Inspection Report which is encicsed with this letter. Within these areas, the
'
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
