Edwin I. Hatet. Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 We have completed our review of your responses to Generic Letter (GL) 83-28 dated November 7, 1983 and February 29, 1984.

Your responses were evaluated for compliance to the staff's positions delineated in GL 83-28 for Action Items 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, and 4.5.1.

Your response was found to be acceptable for Item 4.5.1 Your responses were found to be incomplete for items 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1, and 3.2.2.

Descriptions of the deficiencies are discussed in greater detail in Section III of the enclosed Safety Evaluation and in the enclosed Request for Additional Information.

You are requested to respond to this request according to the commitments made in your letter dated February 29, 1984 or, if the committed dates cannot be met, a request for extension of time with justification is requested.

This request for information affects fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.
