CRGR MEETING NO. 83 The Committee to Review Generic Requirements (CRGR) will meet on Wednesday, November 27, 1985, from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Room 6507 MNBB. The agenda is as follows: j 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. - F. Gillespie (RES) will present for CRGR review, the j enclosed proposed rulemaking (modification of 10 CFR Parts 30, 40 and 70) concerning Emergency Preparedness for Fuel Cycle and Other Radioactive Material Licenses.

(Category 2 item).

2:00 - 3:00 p.m. - G. Arlotto (RES) will present for CRGR review, the enclosed proposed Revision 3 to Regulatory Guide 1.63, Electric Penetration Assemblies in Containment Structures

for Nuclear Power Plants. (Category 2 Item). )

3:00 - 4:00 p.m. - W. Houston (NRR) will present for CRGR review, the enclosed proposed closecut actions for resolving Generic i Issue B-19, Thermal Hydraulic Stability for BWRs (Category 2 item).

4:00 - 4:30 p.m.- J. Sniezek (ROGR) will present for CRGR review, the enclosed proposed CRGR Charter modification to align the Charter with the NRC's "Backfit Rule." (Category 2 item).

If a CRGR member cannot attend the meeting, it is his responsibility to l assure that an alternate, who is approved by the CRGR Chairman, attends the meeting.

Persons making presentations to the CRGR are responsible for (1) assuring that the information required for CRGR review is provided to the Comittee (CRGR Charter - IV.8), (2) coordinating and presenting views of other offices, (3) as appropriate, assuring that other offices are represented I

-2 during the presentation, and (4) assuring that agenda modifications are coordinated with the CRGR contact (Walt Schwink, x28639) and others involved with the presentation. Division Directors or higher management should attend meetings addressing agenda items under their purview.

In accordance with the ED0's March 29, 1984 memorandum to the Comission con-cerning " Forwarding of CRGR Documents to the Public Document Room (PDR)," the enclosures, which contain predecisional information, will not be released to the PDR until the NRC has considered (in a public forum) or decided the matter addressed by the information.
