Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. R. E. Baer and
D. 8. Spitzberg of this office during the period August 12-16, 1985, of
activities authorized by NRC Operating License NPF-32 for Wolf Creek Generating
Station, and to the discussion of our findings.with Mr. C. C. Mason and other
members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included radioactive waste management
programs and radwaste system operations.
Within these areas, the inspection
consisted of selective examination of prncedures and representative records,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
These findings
are documented in the enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
