Inspection 50-245/85-22; 50-336/85-27 (7/23/85 - 9/3/85)
This routine safety inspection was of operational and supporting activities at
Millstone Units 1 and 2.
Particular attention was directed to observation of power
operations.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified and no reply to this letter is
required.
We have noted that the recent relocation of your access administrative facilities
has been accompanied by some delays in the authorization of access of NRC personnel
to the site.
Please review the effectiveness of the controls you have in place
to assure that NRC personnel have immediate unfettered access to the facility.
We will address this matter further during routine inspections and site visits.
Your letter of July 22, 1985 concerning the pressurizer spray valve wiring error
at Millstone Unit 2 has been received and reviewed.
NRC follow-up on this matter
will be accomplished during routine inspections.
