Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. N. M. Terc of this office during
the period July 15-17, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC Construction
Permit CPPR-145 for River Bend Station and to the discussion of our findings
with Mr. W. Odell and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection included follow-up of findings from the
emergency preparedness appraisal and the 1985 emergency exercise. Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
These findings are documented in the enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.

discuss them with you.
