MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION
Dear Mr. McCollum:
This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. M. Kitlan of your staff and Mr. L. Wert of this office on October 29, 1996 concerning a Management meeting to be conducted in the NRC Region II office (101 Marietta St., N. W.,
Suite 2900 Atlanta, Georgia) on January 22, 1997, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. You requested this meeting to present a self-assessment of Catawba's performance. As mutually agreed, the status and results of performance-improvement initiatives at Catawba will also be discussed during this meeting.
This will be an open meeting as per " Staff Meetings Open to the Public: Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994: 59 FR 48340).
